All these , being men of war who could draw up in battle formation , came to hebron with a perfect heart to make david king over all israel ; and all the rest also of israel were of one mind to make david king 代上12 : 38以上都是能守行伍的战士、他们都诚心来到希伯仑、要立大卫作以色列的王以色列其馀的人也都一心要立大卫作王。

[ bbe ] so all the responsible men of israel came to the king at hebron ; and david made an agreement with them in hebron before the lord ; and they put the holy oil on david and made him king over israel , as the lord had said by samuel 于是以色列的长老、都来到希伯仑见大卫王大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约他们就膏大卫作以色列的王、是照耶和华藉撒母耳所说的话。
