• On the basis of this analysis the radiation and diffraction forces of the ship are calculated using these three methods and compared . at the same time vertical ship motions in regular wave are solved by these three methods . the results are compared to test each method ' s availability and suitability , thus the theoretical basis of optimize design of sea - keeping performance is provided
