  具体的研究工作如下:一、概述了知识员工、非知识员工以及工作压力的相关理论,并从知识员工与非知识员工的工作特征和现有的工作压力及管理理论的局限性入手,分析了在我国工作压力及管理领域中,将员工分为知识型与非知识型两大类来进行研究的必要性和科学性;二、以我国企、事业单位中的知识员工与非知识员工为调查对象,通过问卷方式获取新鲜数据,并通过数理统计方法分析目前我国这两类员工群体所面临的压力源及其压力反应的特点,通过相关分析和回归分析比较他们对工作压力源的感知、对压力刺激的反应的差异;三、根据实证研究结果,分析知识员工与非知识员工的工作压力特点,分别指出目前我国组织中这两类员工所承担的主要、次要工作压力;四、针对这两类员工的工作压力特点,从组织层面提出了压力管理的原则、旨在形成积极压力的激励管理策略,以及能起到预防、消除或者减小消极工作压力作用的控制管理策略。
