施蒂格勒什么意思：[Stigler, George J（oseph）] （1911.1.17,美国华盛顿州伦顿～1991.12.1,伊利诺伊州芝加哥) 美国经济学家。在芝加哥大学获博士学位，后执教于多所大学，1977年在芝加哥大学创建经济与国家研究中心。他研究信息经济学后，对传统理解中市场运作的有效性作了阐述。他还研究政府调节并得出结论：政府调节通常有损于消费者的利益。1982年获诺贝尔经济学奖。
