  本文通过对校本课程开发的思想理论的追本溯源，以美国的约瑟夫?施瓦布( jesephschwab ) “实践的课程模式”和英国的劳伦斯?斯腾豪斯( lawrencestenhouse ) “过程模式”的理论建构和实践探索的分析，在纵向深究其哲学本真的同时，选取世界上教育较为发达的若干国家和地区，综述、探讨、比较它们的校本课程开发，得出校本课程开发的主要国际经验：即开发的主体是教师、开发的两种形态，开发的步骤等。
