The major findings were as follows : ( 1 ) it ' s not common for fathers and mothers in participation of schooling . ( 2 ) there is significance difference between fathers and mothers about performance of parental involvement . ( 3 ) the results of this study partially supported the causal model of the gender differences in parental involvement 主要研究结果发现如下: 1 .无论父亲或母亲,对于学校教育的参与均不普遍; 2 .父亲与母亲在不同面向的学校教育参与有明显的差异性; 3 .本研究运用家长信念和人际关系两类中介变项所建立之因果模型,对于家长参与学校教育的性别差异性之解释获得部分支持,即父母亲在学校教育参与的差异表现,部分可归因于其在家长信念与人际关系有所差异。
