Rom . 13 : 7 render to all the things due : tax to whom tax is due , custom to whom custom is due , fear to whom fear is due , honor to whom honor is due 罗十三7凡人所当得的，就给他们：当得税的，就给他上税；当得捐的，就给他纳捐；当惧怕的，就惧怕他；当尊敬的，就尊敬他。
In the initial stages fear manifests as distrust , and if the source of the fear is not addressed , the distrust builds into what most people call paranoia 在最初阶段，惧怕的表现是“去信任化” ，假如惧怕的根源未被发现，那么“不信任”会植入到大多数人称之为的“妄想狂”当中去。
He asked , with his queer grin of a smile , as if he had toothache ; it was so wry , and his eyes were so perfectly unchangingly melancholy , or stoical , or disillusioned or afraid 他一边问，一边苦笑着，好象他牙痛似的，多么做作的微笑！他的眼睛带着十分忧郁的忍痛的幻灭的和惧怕的神气。
Nobody could explain to him what had happened , and for fear of being regarded as mad he had refrained from telling anybody about it . his fear prevented him from having that incredible experience again 因为害怕被人视为疯子，他就不再告诉任何人这件事，然而这种惧怕的心理让他再也没有那种不可思议的体验。
Then it shall come to pass , that the sword , which ye feared , shall overtake you there in the land of egypt , and the famine , whereof ye were afraid , shall follow close after you there in egypt ; and there ye shall die 耶42 : 16你们所惧怕的刀剑、在埃及地必追上你们你们所惧怕的饥荒、在埃及要紧紧的跟随你们你们必死在那里。
So , first of all , let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself nameless , unreasoning , unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance 因此，首先允许我申明自己的坚定信念：我们唯一该惧怕的是惧怕本身会使我们变后退为前进所需作出的努力瘫痪的那种不可名状，失去理智，毫无根据的恐惧。
I also will choose their delusions , and will bring their fears upon them ; because when i called , none did answer ; when i spake , they did not hear : but they did evil before mine eyes , and chose that in which i delighted not 赛66 : 4我也必拣选迷惑他们的事、使他们所惧怕的临到他们因为我呼唤、无人答应我说话、他们不听从反倒行我眼中看为恶的、拣选我所不喜悦的。
