May 29 , 2003 marks the 50th anniversary of the human conquest of mount qomolangma . this momentous historic event was celebrated at katmandu , the capital of nepal , where an impressive roster of over 500 qomolangma summiteers from all over the world gathered together 2003年5月29日是人类征服珠穆朗玛峰50周年纪念日,为了庆视这一历史时刻,尼泊尔首都加德满都举办了庆祝活动,来自世界各地的500多名曾经成功登顶珠峰的登山者聚集一堂。
