A clammy and intensely cold mist , it made its slow way through the air in ripples that visibly followed and overspread one another , as the waves of an unwholesome sea might do 那雾粘乎乎的，冰寒彻骨，缓缓地在空中波浪式地翻滚，一浪一浪，清晰可见，然后宛如污浊的海涛，彼此渗诱，融合成了一片。
As i laid her down - for i raised her and supported her on my arm while she drank - i covered her ice - cold and clammy hand with mine : the feeble fingers shrank from my touch - the glazing eyes shunned my gaze 我让她躺下时因为我扶起她，让她靠着我的胳膊喝水把手放在她冷冰冰，湿腻腻的手上，她衰竭无力的手指缩了回去了迟滞的眼睛避开了我的目光。
