" but as for you , only keep yourselves from the things under the ban , so that you do not covet them and take some of the things under the ban , and make the camp of israel accursed and bring trouble on it 书6 : 18至于你们、务要谨慎、不可取那当灭的物、恐怕你们取了那当灭的物、就连累以色列的全营、使全营受咒诅。
There shall be no more thence an infant of days , nor an old man that hath not filled his days : for the child shall die an hundred years old ; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed 那里必再没有数日夭折的婴孩，也没有不满寿数的老人；因为百岁而死的人，仍算是年轻人；有活不到百岁而死的人算是被咒诅的。
