This paper draws conclusions from the studies on five typical deposits which are distributed in the west of lanping - simao basin . these conclusions are as follows : the types of copper deposits are different because the geological backgrounds of this area in different period are different ; songjiapo copper deposit belongs to a typical porphyry deposit , its mineral liquid mainly come from the magma that formed the triassic eruptive rocks and effected by the subsequent geological action ; jinman copper deposit , shuixie copper deposit and kedengjian copper deposit are the hydrothermal type 文章在综合分析、比较各矿床的矿床地质和地球化学特征的基础上，还结合了研究区的地质背景资料，研究了前人的成果和认识，初步分析了区域不同类型铜矿床的形成机制，探索性地提出了各类型铜矿床的成矿模型，以期为该区的找矿勘探和矿产开发提供理论依据。
