This thesis concentrates on the study of technical specifications of nids . we investigate the market requirements of nids and test more than ten devices of nids . based on the above works , we propose technical specifications to regulate the functionality , performance as well as physical interface of nids in a network having limited bandwidth to 100m hz 在这个目标指导下，作者悉心研究国内外相关文献，组织人员进行广泛深入的市场需求调研，并对十余款网络入侵检测产品进行了系统、全面的测试，最终提出了网络入侵检测产品技术规范，对于100m网络带宽下的网络入侵检测产品应具备的功能特点、性能指标及接口特征提出了明确的技术要求。
