We summarize our results as follow : during the period of 1981 - 2000 , there was a great change of land use in the county . the area of arable land , forest and saline - alkali land increased ; water land and resident land changed a little ; the area of the grassland and wasteland decreased greatly 结果显示：在1981 2000年这二十年间，长岭县的土地利用变化总的趋势是：耕地、林地和盐碱地面积增加，水域、居工用地变化不大，未利用地部分已被利用，草地面积急剧减少，并伴随着日益加剧的沙化和盐碱化。
