Combining the construction survey of expressway , this paper presents the leveling survey method which adopts total station optical electronic tacheometric theodolite instead of leveling instrument , and gives a comparison between the two kinds of devices from such aspects as speed and accuracy , which reveals the reliability and efficiency of the application of total station optical electronic tacheometric theodolite for class four leveling survey 摘要结合高速公路的施工测量，对在工程施工过程中可以用全站仪代替水准仪进行水准测量的方法进行介绍，并从速度、精度对使用两种仪器进行了比较，说明用全站仪进行四等水准测量的可靠性和高效性。
