This paper analyses the developing direction of cad system in the era of internet , discusses several key technologies of web - based cad system , including system architecture and developing tactics , the web - relevant network technology , pure java technology , web component model technology , web - based technology of graphics interactivity and system maintaining & upgrade technology , etc . . through combining above relevant technologies , a web - based cad prototype system , wcs , is designed and implemented . as a system for verification , wcs possesses the functions of dynamic version update and web - based graphics interactivity between distant hosts , besides the basic functions of traditional cad softwares 本文分析了internet时代cad系统的发展方向，研究了基于web的cad系统的若干关键技术，主要包括：系统的体系结构与开发策略、与web应用相关的网络技术、纯java开发技术、 web组件模型技术、基于web的图形交互技术和系统的维护与升级技术等。在融合以上相关技术的基础上，设计并初步实现了一个基于web的cad原型系统wcs ( web - basedcadsystem ) 。
