Leaving the north , volunteers traveled to central au lac to comfort the elderly , abandoned children , and people with disabilities in this harsh land . volunteers offered new year s gifts and red envelopes wrapped with master ching hai s love to each person , along with their best new year s wishes 离开北方，慰问团移往中部，以便分担此一乾枯砂石区的老人孤儿以及病痛残疾者的困苦处境，除了带给他们新年的祝福之外，也把包含清海无上师满怀爱心的年礼和红包亲送到每个人手上。
Not only did the volunteers personally visit villages and residential areas where there were many ill and disabled people , but they also stopped to talk with , console and give the homeless , elderly , disabled children , and victims of natural disasters new year s presents when they encountered them along the way , in hopes of brightening their lives 慰问团不只拜访残疾人士所住的村落及收容中心，沿路遇到流浪汉老者残障孩童或灾民时，也停下来安慰他们，给他们新年礼物，希望能带给他们一些生命的光辉。
