O arjuna , that which out of delusion , you do not wish to perform , you will do unavoidably , being bound by your inclinations born of your own nature 阿诸那啊，出于迷茫错觉，你不想行动，你还是不可避免地会去行动，因为那是由你天生的善性所决定的。
These three kinds of austerities when practiced without hankering for fruitive rewards by devout persons of ardent faith is designated as being in the nature of goodness 挚信虔诚的人们，不求回报地奉行上述身，口，意三方面的戒修，就是处于善性的品德中。
Arjuna , prescribed actions which are performed as a matter of duty giving up attachment to fruitive results is considered renunciation in the nature of goodness 阿诸那啊，放弃对其利益结果的依附，作为责任义务去进行规定的行为活动，就是处于善性品德中的放下。
That action which is devoid of fruitive desires , free from attraction and repulsion , without attachment ; which is performed as duty is called the nature of goodness 在行为活动方面，全无利益的欲望和欲望的利益，即不被吸引也不排斥，脱离了依附，作为责任义务去进行的活动就是善性品性的。
O sinless one , among these the mode of goodness being pure , illuminating and serene ; conditions one due to the attachment of happiness and the attachment of knowledge 无罪的人啊（阿诸那） ，在这些品性中，善性是纯净的，发光明亮的，宁静安详的，由于喜爱幸福快乐和知识学问而使人受到束缚。
The intelligent renounciate endowed with the nature of goodness , freed from all doubts , neither disdains disagreeable actions nor becomes attached to agreeable ones 赋予了善性品德的，有智慧的，解脱了的行者，消除了所有的疑惑，即不会鄙视令人不悦的行为，也不会执着依附于令人愉悦的行为。
O mighty armed one , the qualities of goodness , passion and ignorance thus produced by the material energy enslaves the immutable , consciousness of the self within the body 伟大的武士啊（阿诸那） ，由物质能量这样产生出来的善性，欲望情感和愚昧无知等诸多品性，就奴役束缚了体内自我的永恒意识。
The result of virtuous activities in the mode of goodness is declared purity , the result in the mode of passion is misery and the result in the mode of ignorance is nescience 在善性的知觉觉知中施善行的结果是纯净，在欲望情感中追求行为的利益结果是苦难，在愚昧无知中进行的行为，其结果是愚昧。
Lord krsna the possessor of all opulence said : the faith of the embodied manifests in three ways : goodness , passionate and nescience ; conforming unto the impressions of past life experiences 万有万福的主奎师那说：与往世的经历印痕相符，体内灵魂的信仰以三种方式展现：善性，欲望情感和愚昧无知。
The liberated and detached performer of actions devoid of false ego , endued with fortitude and great enthusiasm , unaffected by success and failure is called in the nature of goodness 解脱了的行为者，摈弃了假我，坚韧不拔，满怀热情，不被成功或失败所影响障碍，他就是处于善性的知觉觉知的品德中。
